The start of my art journey began 26 years ago and it has delighted my soul ever since. I too, like Katherine, have taught art at The Master’s Academy of Fine Arts for the past 14 years. This journey in art has brought much joy not only to me but to others and hence this new chapter in life with a wonderful friend and business partner Katherine Cody Kicklighter. Sharing the expression of art with others, for us, is a means of bringing a sense of peace, tranquility and inner strength that will empower those that share our classes with us to leave “De-stressed, Relaxed and Rejuvenated.

I have been a professional artist for 25 years and have also taught art at The Master's Academy of Fine Arts and Compass Fine Arts Center for the past 11 years. A couple of years ago, I had the desire to stop painting what other people wanted me to paint and to paint what was in my heart. My art series "Documentations of Clarity" was the result of that experience. I then had the desire to share that experience through classes that were not just for product, but for the purpose of expression, relaxation, reconnection, and de-stressing. I hope The Art Escape will be a wonderful experience for you.
